As an ESG Lead at Digit Mint, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients become more efficient in their sustainability reporting, with guaranteed impact. You will, directly and indirectly, guide our clients through their sustainable transformation journey, leveraging your expertise in ESG. Your role will also be instrumental in laying the foundations of our customer success and partnership teams within our SaaS company.

Collaborating closely with our sales, engineering, and product teams, as well as our valued partners at BrightWolves, you'll be supported by experienced entrepreneurs and recognized experts who share our values and vibrant company culture. While we provide the support you need, we also expect you to take the lead and steer your own success.

What will you do? 📕

You will be at the forefront of shaping our customer success and partnership teams, showcasing exceptional leadership skills. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be involved in:

• Fit-gap analysis
  Define and analyze clients' ESG reporting requirements, identifying gaps with their current situation and creating prioritized roadmaps.
• ESG Strategy Development
  Assess clients' current ESG practices, identify areas for improvement, and support the development of comprehensive ESG strategies, policies, and metrics aligned with their business goals and reporting requirements.
• ESG Assessments
  Conduct, coordinate, and support double materiality assessments at clients using our software.
• ESG Reporting
  Advise organizations on ESG reporting frameworks, standards, and guidelines (e.g., ESRS/CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD), and assist in the preparation and communication of ESG disclosures and reports.
• ESG Integration
  Support organizations in integrating ESG considerations into their investment decision-making processes, supply chain management, and product development.
• Regulatory Compliance
  Stay updated on relevant ESG regulations and requirements, ensuring organizations' adherence to applicable laws and guidelines.
• Industry Research
  Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the field of ESG, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
• Partnership Development
  Define how our software brings the most value to our customers, shaping our go-to-market model and partnering strategy based on your expertise and experience.

Your profile? 🙋

• Bachelor's or master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience working in ESG, sustainability, or related areas, preferably as a consultant. Experience in a SaaS business is a bonus!
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting guidelines (e.g., ESRS, GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD), as well as global sustainability trends.
• Familiarity with relevant ESG regulations, industry-specific guidelines, and investor expectations. • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing ESG strategies and programs in various organizational settings.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret ESG data and metrics. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Professional certifications related to sustainability, such as the CSR-P or GRI, are highly desirable.
• Passion for sustainability, social responsibility, and making a positive impact on society and the environment.
• Willingness to work in Belgium.
• Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
